Acquisition
Am I the only one who wonders why after trimming assets to reduce debt Enbridge is again accumulating? This deal will likley add value to the company in the short term and if so it will help me reach my personal targets here. Will be watching with interest the next week or so to see how well this is embraced by analyst and the market.

As stated in the PR the export facility is built in 2018. Growth and synergy purchases versus mature assets sales is the difference. The valuation of assets sold are usually towards the higher end of the scale and/ or have less potential for growth projects or synergies. The assets tended to be purchased typically are based in regions with other existing assets.
