My 2 cents, ENB, TRP, PPL, KEY etc are like Utilities and thus considered low risk. Today the market is risk on, so sell your low risk and buy higher risk assets. But, interest rates are now falling in both Canada and & US, so that should be a tail wind for dividend stocks as income seekers switch from term deposits/bonds to low risk dividend paying stocks.

The us treasury 10 years was up by a lot today normally this is what happen to utilities stocks but again it's temporary once it get down to 3.5 utilities will be up , but any .05 .1 move will make utilities move too
