Bright future at EXRO (IMO)

This morning I read this and it got me so excited: "Volvo Trucks is beginning series production of the electric versions of the company’s most important product range, its heavy-duty trucks: Volvo FH, Volvo FM and Volvo FMX. These trucks can operate at a total weight of 44 tons and the three models represent around two-thirds of the company’s sales." My prediction was that EXRO had an NDA with VOLVO. I am still convinced of this. It makes sense on the timing of VOLVO's announcement. EXRO also has a project with lead global Automotive OEM which I think is FORD. And lets not forget the partnership with Linamar on the E-AXLEs. Imagine once these partnerships are revealed and going full tilt. Hard not to keep buying this stock on such potential. The sky is the limit. Long and Strong EXRO :)

So why exactly is everyone silent on the volvo  "relationship" why exactly is this a secret??
Comment by moneydigger on Aug 15, 2023 2:02pm
The strategic partner will remain unnamed under a non-disclosure agreement ("NDA") through phase one of the partnership (successful validation of partner motor-Exro L040 800V inverter proof-of-concept) anticipated in Q3 2023, after which the parties shall transition to definitive agreement announced with a joint press release. Once this phase is complete than they ...more

So, being the end of the trading day of August 15, 2023 can we say we have missed "early 3Q23" for announcement of UL approval or does it go until midnight?

sepot 30 is end of Q3.   It will come.  Be patient. End of Q3 Sept 30.

I may have missed it but production is 6 weeks away. Have they hired workers ?  Every thing I have  see is engineering or sales   Maybe someone can explain  /

Sorenson, I think you are missing a bunch of things but I also think you know what they are. The company manufactures electronics using a very sophisticated and automated manufacturing line. It's virtually hands free. The assembly of complete units is quite automated as well using the components coming from 3rd party suppliers.  It would not surprise me to learn that post assembly ...more

Please dont be rediculous ...So you think  automated PC board line  also does shipping recieving loads the parts dept , loads its own resistor diode and chips  etc  then install the boards into the cases  and wires them, etsts packs and ships .   unless they have  oompa loompas hidden they need general  workers {^youtubevideo|(width)425|(height)264 ...more

Nice Try,  I've spent 20 + years in the tech industry, 10 of those designing and building specialty PC based products and shipping them globally. Post board production, FINAL Assembly and automated testing was completed by 3rd party contractors both on and offsite depending on order size at a cost of less than $15 per unit. Automated testing bays with software are common place. It will ...more

Just my 2 cents ...  On social media , Exro employee count is probably not acurate at -129 plus  Add in all the new job openings at Least 15 more spread across 3 locations  Mesa , for example is expected to not even peak out at -160 plus employees.   Listed now there's an " Assembly Squad Lead " ,  hired or promoted from a few months back which says ...more

It will improve the performance of these trucks dramatically.   Its just a guess after reading an article stating those models would be improved.   We shall see.  But either way we have a big fish that will sign a deal with EXRO.
