First Mining Gold Corp > The big problem with share dilution

The big problem with share dilution

One of the biggest problems with this company is the daily dumping of shares. Let's say that conservatively speaking there are 300 million shares waiting to be dumped. On average, let's say we shed 150k of said shares each trading day. 300m divided by 150,000 equals 2000 trading days. There are 252 trading days in a year so 2000 divided by 252 gives us just shy of 9 years just to get rid of this conservative estimate of unwanted shares
For those of us stupid and naive enough to believe in this company, there is a lot more pain and suffering coming unfortunately!

It would be interesting to know who's doing the dumping. With 85% retail ownership, is it primarily retail doing the dumping out of frustration and disbelief? If that's the case, it smells like more of an opportunity than anything.

I think there is a number of the retail investors that are just fed up or can simply no longer wait for the this stock to get going. I believe that the majority of the shares being dumped are from the deals that Keith made to acquire the properties. Either way, we're screwed

It has been a tough slog. I just saw the news about Sabina gold being bought by B2Gold. Always interesting to see what other companies are buying up and compare with First Mining's assets.

Has anyone considered just maybe naked shorting still is fully in motion and with a float this crazy big who would know the diff anyways.... a win/win for shorts
Comment by Sibirboy on Apr 03, 2023 8:39am
ABSOLUTELY! I have long felt that there is some skullduggery afoot. There is just too great an opportunity for it not to take place!
Comment by Co2Harvest on Apr 03, 2023 1:28pm
If that's happening with this stock, possible evidence of that kind of behavior can be sourced through SEC.gov in their publicly-available monthly"failure to deliver" data by opening the file for the period in question and searching on symbol FFMGF. I say "possible" because I don't know if there could be other benign/permitted reasons for cases of failure to deliver. I ...more
