Tomorrow will be the shorters paradice if Quadravest announces the divvies, or lack of for the commons. I can't believe the commons (or class A if you prefer) went up $0.20 today. Do people just look at the % return and ignore everything else? Obviously they don't follow Mouserman os PoS' posts

I think part of what's going on is some investors don't realize the selling price doesn't equal nav.  They think if it's over 5 it pays.

There's a lot of retail traders that don't have membership at StockHouse and don't read these forums at all. All they know is what the TSE tells them ... FFN is the 6th highest dividend payer and currently yielding 22.86% https://money.tmx.com/en/stock-list/TOP_DIVIDEND

The split share corps attract the retail crowd due to the high payout, however they are a fairly complex trading tool, I'm afraid to say a large percentage of said investors don't understand how they work.

it's still POSSIBLE for ffn to pay if quadravest uses a late date but don't hold your breath.
