Estimated NAV end of March 8

All information from the monthly update is applied and the NAV is ~$15.53 (rounded up from $15.52835). 
Here too, the dividend declaration should be come after the 15th

February 29, 2024    NAV Pre-Distribution:      $15.39 Distribution:      $0.1925NAV Net of Distribution:      $15.20 Just wondering if your NAV 0of $15.53 is Pre-Distribution or Net of Distribution Ionly calculate a 18 cent increase since February 29

It is net of distribution, based on the net value declared by Quadravest for Feb. 29. Since then, the vslue of all holdings, including cash, has grown from just short of $793M to just short of $810M

Thanks for the info. I only have a Total Net Asset Value of just over $802 M. and a NAV OF $15.38 today. Our weightings must be different!

What I do in my calculations is keeping the newest declared number of units for each holding: I don't perform any weight re-balancing since there are too many factors that can influence the NAV, including the heavily rounded cash amount declared - in this case, the declared 7% could be anything between 6.5% to 7.49% hence the value of all stock holdings can be anywhere between 92.51% and 93.5% ...more

When i get the FULL monthend update, i use the weightings list , and try to equal the % of CAD and US holdings, to match  what is in the update. ALSO have to match up the cash %... It is a lot of work, but many times improves the accuracy. It is still a guessing game tho , as the fund managers can get  a covered call option taken out, and that drops one holding down the list and skews ...more
