FFN dividend yield

The TSX continues to show that FFN has a dividend yield of 13.692% . In the real world we have a yield of 23.905% which my TFSA trading account confirms. This puts them up to 8th on the TSX  Top Dividend list and if this list was cleaned up it would be around 3rd or 4th depending on how you interpret dividends. Not too shabby for a split with a solid portfolio of stocks and a growing dividend clearance above $15. For those who use the TSX site for research etc their mistake could deter people from choosing FFN. When we look at the real dividend yield of 23.905% for FFN this makes it very attractive as long as we continue to follow daily the NAV, Thanks as always to people like Mouserman and An Educator. This is one of the best times I can remember to be trading the Splits .

LOOKS LIKE TMX IS IN ERROR  USING THE DIVIDEND RATE FOR THE PREFERREDS FROM NOV 2023 OF 77.5 CENTS/YEAR OR 6.458 CENTS/MONTH
Comment by CDNINV1 on Apr 08, 2024 6:11pm
THE RATE ON THE PREFERRED SHARES IS ALSO WRONG . STILL USING 77.5 CENTS INSTEAD OF CURRENT 95 CENTS. RATE S/B 9.37%

Me too ! . These incorrect yields are turning away would be investors as 99.9% of them will accept what the TSX says. I check every dividend yield when I am assessing a stock as it is not usual for the yield to be wrong. The updating of TSX info on their site really lags at times.

We should buy them a calculator. They should pay us a reward when we find discrepancies!  Face it, they are disinterested in the widgets of investing.
