ALL red to start the day...

But CAD dropping again, now down over 1% since MAy 31... should  help the US holdings NAV a bit..

Despite today's further drop FFN will still pay this month. Is it getting into the buy zone here?

Any discount to NAV woould be a buy, but not sure that is trading that low yet.
Comment by Donwaan on Jun 14, 2024 10:15am
Is it not trading very close to the real time NAV now? It will be underwater after the June distributions are paid however.

What is your take on the pain in financials this week? I could foresee this if CPI came hot, or Powell was hawkish, but that didn't happen. And then we had encouraging news with PPI and new unemployment claims.. its perplexing to me. Just seems like everyone just decided to start dumping financials.. but what was the catalyst? And why now?

Looks like a belated sell in spring and buy back in fall syndrome...didn't think it would happen in an American election year.time. Time will tell. Glta
