Quadravest updated FFN now with 9% cash

So re-arranged the sheet to match up cash % and the % weighing in CAD and US.
UNIT NAV today i have at $15.71 down 41 cents since the AUG 30th update., and the worst performing split fund in their fold. DF, DFN and LFE all have  passed FFN in unit nav  during this month so far.

maxjac's dashboard showing a 15.65 for a 6 cent variance between the two of you.  any thoughts on where the variance lies? please note this is not meant to be a dig to either of you as i highly appreciate both of your efforts greatly and look here often for insight from both of you. Just can't explain the variance myself.

I'm working on updating the weightings we'll see how that ends up affecting the numbers. I would trust that the estimates posted here by our two gurus are closer to the real NAV than the dashboard as they do make more refined adjustments. The dashboard is meant to be about 7 cents from the real thing. It's not going to be bang on.

makes sense, and will keep that in mind when i look at it in parallel of the two gurus or while i only have the dashboard when they haven't posted yet.  7 cent rule works good for me! thanks again for this!

I made some updates to the logic so the dashboard can recognize the change in rankings and recalculate the individual stocks weightings based on the newest CAN vs US vs CASH weightings available in the month-end "Fund Update" PDF document. It's not perfect yet. I still have work to do but getting closer at this point the NAV that generates from the updated dashboard is close (at 15 ...more
