Shares Out Have Increased Today

Looks like there are more shares outstanding today. Dashboard has updated automatically to reflect this, taking into account the previous day's closing price for both FFN and FFN.PR.A:

What does this mean for the long term stability of the fund? Doesn't the total amount of preffered and common shares have to matchup on the extension date(Dec 1)?

IN reality the fund is uspposed to try and keep the preferreds and commons equal.. not sure how often they are required to have that.  With the ATM program, nearly impossible to keep them even.
