After a nice run up in the banks, it was time for retreat.

Not surprised at all by the pullback in FFN's  holdings, as some of these were overcooked a bit. Very toppy looking markets to me.

Feels very toppy to me too. I went all cash on Friday, looking to get into some preferreds.  Still very much believe in the medium term hype: Fed cuttting cycle, solid GDP growth, earnings solid, Trump leading, stable employment..  if it all happens that is. It does seems like its priced into the underlying portfolio, even if FFN is still at a discount. But man.. if one those ...more
