At first glance at the weightings

I have MS as the 3rd highest weighting as per the OCT 31  update from Quadravest... you have them much lower..or am I reading it wrong? RY moved down to 6th...

That's probably it then! On the Dashboard, the rankings will only update at the same time as Quadravest publishes the month-end PDF, even though we already have the newest rankings from their webpage a few days ahead. The Dashboard waits to have the rankings AND the US, CA, and Cash weightings to recalculate the weightings for each individual stock.

OK . as i say to be accurate need the full update...  so it may be out after the close today. I see the USD gaining back vs CAD early this am...

The other thing i noticed was the % of NAV on my spreadsheet for the top holdings was lower... The change from the AUGUST cash position shown in documents as 8% to current  11% caused me take down the top holdings % of NAV.. where your stayed the same. I did not take off as much off  from the lifecos  MFC,SLF, and GWO, which have shown to have gained a higher %  since that date ...more

Pondering .... Using Quadravest October 31st 2024 FFN and  FFN.pr.a Fund Update data I calculated equal number of 58 342 859 shares out for FFN and FFN.pr.a each, (Dividing $ Market Cap. by share price fom the Market Data Section Upper right of the fund Update Sheet). This is bizzare and most unlikely.   Maxjac's Dashboard indicates 55 338 392 shares of the commons and 57 232 ...more

Hi @WattDoINo, the dashboard doesn't calculate the shares outstanding; it grabs these values from TMX (look for the value under "Listed Shares Out") and same for the preferred.

Those 2 million commons commons were probably retracted prior to Monthend   .. Had to be done before OCt 31... if you wanted to get in on the retraction play before the election.
