Interested
Very Interested too see how quadravest handles the situation as it does appear that a forced preferred retraction would have been announced already if that was their method of balancing the common/preferred outstanding. Has shown me personnally I should probably have a better understanding of the nuances that split funds have. Thanks navgod for your insight on here and you appear to have the best handle on what may happen with the special retraction. Anyway will watch with interest on what transpires over the next week or two.

It's worth mentioning they let the Preferred vs common count be out of whack in the past.

Not unexpected. I always doubted they would go that route - quadravest has always put the interests of the preffereds over the commons, but just in case I sold nearly all of my 90k pref shares last week and made the switch over to FTN, can never be too careful. I did keep 100 shares in FFN though just to see if and how would shake down... so far nothings changed.
