Let's not forget that bismuth is also covered in the Inflation Reduction Act (as well as cobalt when also used for solar panels and batteries in addition to EV batteries).

... tax credits in IRA could spur upwards of 30 GW of new solar panel manufacturing capacity in the United States. Add in inverter, tracker and battery manufacturing, and a true domestic supply chain of components for solar and storage projects could finally be realized.

Great post given there Seems a lot of break thru type research on bismuth and solar panels ....some right in the U of Alberta but also around the world. There is a reason bismuth is on the CM list. not a bad thing to be sitting on the largest known deposit on earth right at lil ole FT in the NWT along with its other CMs and BMs, a convenience store of these metals, in this space the world finds ...more
