FTN unit NAV jumps to $22 to OCT 15

Big day for  FTN and FFN, as the US banks made huge moves back up.
FTN now has gained 68 cents since the sept 30 update, so should show a value of  12 dollars for the commons , on next weeks update.
Discount now would be .64 or about  5.3%

Mouserman correctly adjusted for distribution - sometimes the correct explanation is the simplest.

POS you are very wrong. Let's use actual NAV numbers from the Quadravest site : Sept 30   =   NAV  =  $21.32 Oct 15     =   NAV  =  $21.99 Actual change in NAV as determined by Quadravest  =  $0.67 On Oct 15, mouserman predicted an increase in NAV between Sept 30 and Oct 15        ...more

Obviously you are wrong AGAIN. I did record the Sept 15 NAV from the Quadravest site, and it was $21.32 (I've recorded all NAVs for many months). Just in case that is not clear to you, I did not derive the $21.31 from a subtraction of 68 cents from $12.00.  I do not gaslight ! I have no idea why there is a difference between the Canadian Prefered shares site and Quadravest.  I,and ...more

POS the sept 30th NAV was 21.51 before paying ditributions of .18195 which Quad then quoted as (wait for it) 21.32. you will have to ask Quad when it wasn't 21.33. I can see after this thread that a daily NAV might do you a lot of good. I would settle for a  historical NAVs file which shouln't cost anything.

Yes, well done navgod. This explaines the difference between the Canadian Prefered shares site value and the Quadravest value Alder
