FTN unit nav to Oct. 11 = approx: $16.76

So at this point FTN has lost about 30 cents in UNIT  NAV. With now 23% in cash, the premium on the common shares is about $1.68 or approx: 24.85%
Still paying for the next while i would think. Bounce day may happen  yet this week.

I really like that they are holding cash. Hopefully they can deploy that cash and get great value. I am not convinced they will be paying for much longer. I hope I am wrong.

This bear market's claws have yet to take down the best of the best. The NAV is not your friend right now because buying based on that alone may give you the distribution but will quickly get wiped away by the capital loss. I am focussed more on CPI and job numbers since that is what the FED is looking at in their fiscal policy fight against inflation. Until those numbers come down one is ...more

FTN DFN DGS weakest  today while FFN DF LCS enjoying 5-9% jump FUnds with 30% premiums not bouncing

Early this morning it looked like sunshine and lollipops for everybody.  Reality has set in, and maybe yesterday was a dead cat bounce.   You don't want to be stuck with losers like ffn, df, and lcs if we get a downdraft.  On high volume days, broker's websites crash and you'll be stuck riding down twice as far as the market.
