FTN getting punished again at the open.

Not sure why the sellers are dumping here , as FTN selling almost at NAV this morning.

For a paying split fund... very hard to see why the selling when we so close to the NAV.. maybe some longs who have a really dollar cost average and extremely bearish sentiment towards the portfolio... What I really worry about though is the back channel shenanigans. I wonder if there is something the insiders know that we do not. A consolidation coming? What can it be?

Just a guess but it could be holders that got hurt in ffn then dfn then dgs and moved to the safety of FTN decided they couldn't take anymore and bailed - that makes more sense that a nebulous "what are we missing" theory.

I held it for the div. Held it until I was guaranteed one more payout and sold. LOTS. I will own LOTS again some day. I love the holdings, just not now.

Its just the FEd effect, higher for longer, and the treasury yields at 16year highs, which generally precedes a recession. Powell is laughing at the stock market losers, as  if the plan was to cut down consumer spending, this is working terrific. It is not nice for those funds and private investors losing countless billions of $$. tho...
