Looking hard

This Split Share fund was recommended to me by an owner who also owns two other ETFs that l own.As a newcomer to both investing and SH this one intrigues me greatly.Reading all l can on this board as well as investor website l fail to understand a poster who it appears to be considered a genius and infallible by many calling recent buyers Pigs.That is insulting and other than his very helpful NAV evaluations , has lost me completely.I do wish l had bought this one earlier at a buck less but l listened to one who predicted that dividends would not be paid.100% wrong and it only looks like the coverage is getting wider.While l am not a trader , if l see red flags , then l would react .In my way of thinking the Central banks in North America are more than likely done in hikes and are poised to actually begin lowering those rates. Looking at highs not that long ago it would appear that FTN could move up both fast and considerably.

I don't post on this board because I feel I have no useful information to contribute, but I follow it every day.  The poster you refer to provides critical information on NAV for FTN and does indeed deserve to be called a genius.  I don't know how he manages such an accurate spreadsheet, I just know I can't do likewise.  To refer to dividend "pigs" is a not ...more
