if QVest wants to buy back 10% of ourstandung shares, wouldn't this make the shares less diluted and raise prices???

I think so, share buybacks are always good for holders, don't see why that would be any different here... Still, that's only IF they buyback, just because they can doesn't mean they will. This just gives them the opinion to do so.

Actually there are conditions to be met before Quadravest can buy back shares. ONE MAIN ONE is that the commons share CANNOT be trading at a discount.. for the buyback they must be at a premium to TRUE NAV.

Oh wait , maybe i am thinking of the ATM, which is the opposite of the buyback.. as they are selling shares from the treasury...  I am probably in error. ONE would think they would want to buy back shares at a discount to the value..
