Question
What do you think a Trump win will do for the markets. Don't need a lot of rhetoric , Just an opinion. It looks to me like it will be sector specific but I am really looking at US banks.

Can only reply by using history and my memory. From what I remember, the day after Trump won in 2016 the banks took a huge dive because everyone was shocked he beat Hillary. They recovered very quickly and went on to make new highs. Now, IMO, there will be no shock effect and bank stocks should respond positively. GL.

Last time trump was in, he reduced the set aside so banks profited in the short term, but it hit the fan later when banks didn't have enough reserves and went belly up. Short term profit and can't pass a stress test. Every bank will have to live on the edge to stay competitive, and be ready for any little shock to wipe them off the map. Wild ride ahead.
