If you sell today you will not get the dividend payment on October 10

You always get the divvy if you sell ex dividend date... ex divvy date means if you buy today  you wont get dividends for those shares.

You are correct today is exday.... the new rule is now exday is record day..... it is different today because of "National Day for Truth and Reconciliation(September 30, 2024) Stock Markets: Both the US and Canadian Stock Markets will be open regular hours on Monday, September 30. However, it is a non-settlement day for Canadian trades. " normally under the new rule exday ...more

Another big green day for the NAV..... I have the NAV @11:15 AM after dividends @ $18.76  Trading at a .30 cents discount after payout Golferman
