FTN pullback.. is why????

Juwt got back from golfing and saw the carnage on FTN... not sure i understand why the market does not think the discount is big enough..  Is there a nuclear threat or  something i missed?
Will do another update here very soon, as i need to see where the value is today.

I had the exact same reaction! Moved everything from FFN from to FTN, which I thought was kind of a safe haven (as far as the splits go).... Yikes!  Only other thing is that CDN bank earnings get underway tomorrow, with BNS due up first. BNS only down 0.08% though, and no way retail money in any split has a better jump on things then the institutional money trading BNS. Looking forward ...more

I like lots of others sold FFN and bought FTN. FTN stock price when up a lot with all the buying. FTN pre exdividend date closed at 10.15 FTN ex dividend date closed at 9.91 a .24c drop split shares always do this but FTN was the worst drop in splits I follow. FFN was 7.52 only dropped .06 cents Is it possible that FTN is just over bought? or are people confusing FFN and FTN re the consolidation ...more

I think someone with a good cushion of capital gains decided to dump a large load of shares in reaction to the hot market of late and Bank earnings starting tomorrow. Which then triggered some stop losses. That's my guess.
