Straw in the wind

I happen to own both Fury and Hecla.Something interesting has happened in the last few days ,Fury has gone up and Hecla down .Seems to me Mr Market is predicting a paper takeover of Fury by Hecla,
Hecla clearly is and wants to be the preeminent silver miner in North America.
Taking over Fury in a paper transaction makes total sense. If in fact Silver goes much higher over the next few years (it tends to lag behind gold) Hecla will fly to the moon .This is not a big transaction for a company like Hecla and they clearly will want to diversify thier silver assets in view of what happened at the "Lucky Friday" mine.
Investing in Silver  mines in third world countries and thier legal systems is fraught with risks (just see what has happened to Franco).Hence the appeal of Hecla and Dolly.
