Is Aeroplan willing to loose $432 000....

or will they make a deal with FUTURA to keep them as resellers....???

Good question. $432,000 is a drop in the bucket for AImia. Also it was Aeroplan who started to panic that set things off with this CCAA process. So I'm not sure if Aeroplan will support Futura. They, like shareholders, see the debt problems and the high general & admin expenses as hindering future growth. Saying that, Aeroplan needs resellers who can penetrate ...more

By my calculation Futura charges 5 cent/mile, but must pay Aeroplan 3 cents. Aeroplan revenue 2011 $1,637,963 Almost all cost of sales is for Aeroplan miles. $991,047 Cost of Sales is 60% of Aeroplan revenue. Gross Margin = 2 cents/mile.
