I hope all can come to some agreement about Futura's business. To declare bankruptcy would not only be embarrassing but would drag Aeroplan's name into the news.

 

First, any news would say Aeroplan started the CCAA process by demanding their money, (nothing wrong with that). Then the Aeroplan program did not go well with car dealers. Poor reception and at least 10 dealers quit Aeroplan as it was of little merit to them. This could be more damaging.

 

With no information on how things are going, it's a tough call. I would like to remain positive, but wishing so will not necessarily make it happen. At best for now,  can only assume that because  it has come this far, maybe something will be salvaged and the company will continue..

Its a long and painfull wait....Futura's web site is still working so they are paying the internet provider.......lol

It's painful for many.  Futura also has to pay their lawyers for this CCAA process. Seems like a hopeless situation. I'm almost ready to write-off this investment for tax purposes. But until we know for sure, the next 2 weeks will seem like forever.
