From the Q2 earning call:

It appears it was the Province of Ontario (i.e. us Canadian taxpayers) who provided the loan to Kap Paper.

The fact that a Chartered Bank or syndicate would not provide a loan speaks for itself.

Kenora lands and duties......they're still trying to monetize.

Paul Rivett is stepping back from earnings calls.

Overall....very weak quarter and little prospects.
