I own HEP and like it's holdings. It should do well going forward but MMP.UN ( which I also own) has out performed HEP. For example: YTD HEP

I've never owned hep but have been keeping an eye on it may look at adding this week, dont think being in gold will be a bad thing going forward the dividend is good as well.

Tough winter
But gold is running now that the cryptos have some hair on them. Gold is seasonally strong all summer. HEP won't soar, but should do well.
