WCS up 1.45..

I think with SPR stop releasing here . WCS could close the gap to WTI..

Yes, the linkage of WCS to WTI is broken. WTI went down and just now back up and the discount stayed at $22.50 which is great news for Canadian heavy oil. The stock pimps are also chirping that heavy exposure is the place to be for the triple whammy of fx, wti and wcs discount spread closing in 2023.

Today earthquake in turkey took away 1 million per day supply side .. Operations at Turkey's oil terminal in Ceyhan halted after a major earthquake hit the region. The facility can export up to 1 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude.
