I won't even dignify your last comment with a response, it is that childish.

I do apologise for forgetting that most people who post on this dumb site simply don't have much investment experience, and many are using garbage online brokers.

But I do advise people to use good brokers that don't forget to send you the documents they are legally obligated to send. If your broker ever fails in their duty, do get a new one. I use TD WebBroker, and they have never screwed up.

So I am also using TD as my broker and am encountering problems. They have not and are not mailing out proxies for this vote (unlike every other proxy vote I've been involved with as a shareholder). I have not received anything in the mail, and was told on the phone that I will not be receiving a physical mailout I got an email on Friday notifying me of a non-descriptive corporate action ...more

Question: Do you live in Canada or the USA? I am in Canada and my broker mailed the information and proxy form. The brokers do receive a fee for that service (presumably from GXE).

Canada. Post Office is not the issue. Everthing else is caught up. Same broker mailed me another proxy for another takeover atempet for Sierra Metals That arrive 2 weeks ago. Full package with voting instructions. The potential buyer  for Sieera is a private co. in Peru so it is probably outside the Canadian brokers sphere of influnce. i.e. - No Old Boys club. It is either GXE or the ...more

Roland, does TD not have your email address? I got the link to my proxy in my email from them, so you should have too.

I live in Canada, and yes TD has my email (that's the method they used to inform me of the corporate action), as well as my home address. No electronic links of any nature were provided, and no paper mail out has been received. The email from TD was non-descript (identified a generic corporate action) and just pointed me to my e-documents on Webroker, which provided only a summary of the ...more

As I said before, when I submitted my request, the same thing happened only options. No place to vote yes or no and someone on this board ridicules me so I called again exactly the same answer so this is widespread and as far as I'm concerned, a total cover-up

When a class action is started against GXE. or I guess it would be Lotus Creek. if the yes (for) side wins this inability for share holders to vote can be some more fodder for the law firm. Everything about this deal is fishy: 1. the timing (first laid out just before Christmas) 2. the wording of the first doucments (very ambigious) 3. lack of explanation from management as to why this sale has to ...more
