So what? Someone has to buy the shares that someone else sold. You could say that somebody else was very, very active selling today too. Did you inherit your shares or ahve you never seen a market before?

Pointless might be a matter of opinion but running away from you ... I think not. I thought that hi-liting the fact that one brokerage was particularly active (as a matter of fact 87% of the buy side for anyone who bothered to check) might be useful to someone with greater investing acumen than myself. In turn that person might provides some useful insight for the rest of us.   We amateurs ...more

Beacon has clients. Clients put up the money when shares are bought. Therefore the client or clients who bought are the ones who made the decision, not Beacon Securities. Beacon's analyst publishes reports that their clients and others read and I have read their report, however it is my money that decides what will be bought, not Beacon Securities.The fact someone used a Beacon broker to ...more
