HMM.A is up 9% year to date. In my opinion, it is still priced very low. But I haven't seen any news that would explain a 9% climb. Did I miss something?

Now up 22% YTD. I still think the price is low and I still haven't seen any news that would explain this rise.

Canadian insider saying it is just an inheritance not a purchase. So might be something else.

I think he purchased 40 shares if I read Canadian insider properly on the 24th.

Yes that's it, he bought 40 shares and inherited lots more. It is a small buy. But it is better to see the CEO do a small buy than a small sell. Not a big deal, but I don't see any other notable news about HMM.A.

Me either.  And large volume for this stock.  Will be one of the top 5 days of the last year at least. Maybe someone knows something or maybe just ba larger fund getting in poorly.   Q4 numbers won't be out for a while, so unless something strategic is going on (like a takeover), I guess we just have to wait.

Highly regarded fund manager Smoak Capital has published his Q4 letter and disclosed a position in HMM with a solid analysis on this investment thesis. Also calling out exposure to data centres.
