INFLATION BACK OVER 4% IN CANADA

And crude and 10 year yiled keep marching higher.  Rate hikes are not doing anything! We're being scammed here people!

Canada's going to get a hard landing. The deeper the inflation, the deeper the recession.  Bringing inflation down just 2% will require an increase in the unemployment rate by at least 2% ceteris paribus.

I think I'm with you and the central bank confirms in December that we're officially in a recession since around the end of summer. Next retail fins are going to be pretty bad, it's not for nothing that stocks of Canadian Tire, Aritzia, Reitmans and the gang have all been tanking, it's because people know their sales are bad right now.
