Just got off the telephone

Just off the telephone with Leo Villageo at husky invester relations,,, I asked for the link so as to participate in the conference Husky is hold dec 15/2020.... Gotta hear it right from the horses mouth as what will take place with the commons,,,, trade for trade and the preffereds just changing name and keeping the same terms that Husky had...... They need a 66% vote so I will be pushing for the 25.00 pay out....$25.00 just might be a reality.

So far I haven't been given a clear answer, nor have I been told that I'm wrong about the $25.   Company has put forward to the Preferreds a coarse of Action to take.   Vote to convert or not. You can also Dissent and get paid "fair value" for your shares.   But they haven't  told us what "fair value" is, yet they want us to Vote ...more

Ya, 404 pages of "legalise"..... try understanding all that!  and you need to do it in a hurry.   That is where I found "DISSENT RIGHTS"  , and the option to be CASHED OUT. All just my opinion..... Need help undertanding and to get the most Bang for the Buck on my shares. 404 pages..... Plus there's more!

RagingB I advise not to exercise dissent rights. You will have to surrender your shares in exchange for the right to receive 'fair value' and you will automatically join the dissenting group and will have to wait out a court process to determine what the fair value is. I tried this once just out of curiosity with BIM.T when MT bought out the company. Got lots of court documents and updates ...more

THANK YOU autofucus111.    I'm unclear as to exactly what you suggest to do.   I understand you say NOT to dissent.   What I'm not clear on is are you saying to vote to convert to Cenovus Shares?    What happens if I do nothing?   That was what I was thinking to do as I was actually thinking exactly what you were saying, and thinking by ...more

RagingB You can vote NO. If the NO's lose the vote (which undoubtedly they will) your shares will convert to CVE preferred. You will own the CVE preferred, but you will still be able to trade them, receive dividends, etc. If you dissent as per section 185 of the Ontario Business Corp Act, then you enter the quagmire I posted about. That's all I can tell you. Do your due diligence if you ...more

Thanks for your advice.   My brain is turning into mush looking at all this "legalise" wording.  404 pages to go through, plus more. I'm getting tired.   It's completely draining because I just can't believe the BS.    What happens if I don't do anything?   I assume my shares will either be converted to CVE preferreds or be ...more

If you don't do anything you're just along for the ride. Like not voting in a federal election. If 67% vote yes, your shares will be automatically converted. If 65% vote yes, it doesn't pass, and you keep HSE shares

I would like my hse shares to turn to CVE I vote yes
Comment by Number13 on Nov 18, 2020 10:10am
There's nothing really to be gained by voting yes. Again I'll defer to preferred share expert James Hymas who has advised holders to vote no.
