We all know that Rafi has for a very long time had hwx as  a top holding.This is unusal as it is small in size compared to his other holdings.Early on rafi was on the topaz board ,no longer,and as topaz is a big fan of clearwater I thought that was where his interest came from.In a Ros Bros talk Neil was asked about who he looked up to and spoke to in the oil world.One of names mentioned was

Just notices thar spur a private is one of Rafi top ten holdings.Spur shares are traded in the grey market.Further evidence that these guys want to be positioned in a big way in the clearwater.HWX was underbidder for deltastream.Will be interesting to watch Neil and Brian go after spur.Spur has a big holding in cadott which in northern clearwater and they say the field is massive.Drilling now.The

The biggest advantage I could see with a merger is for Spur investors to be able to sell their stock with ease or if they wish,  to buy more stock in the combined company. That is probably very difficult to do either,   being a private company. One other thing that could be a selling point,  is the positive intangible effects that might become evident.  A company of that size

What we know is both tve and hwx want spur..Hwx needs it more than tve from an inventory perspective.Ian Dundas who was on the board of tve has a boatload of tve stock and is tve freindly.But we all know it is up to the spur board to make the call on any merger.The longer spur waits to come to market the better chance tve has as they will have their debt sorted ,cored up through selling non
