AGM update

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay. I was the only one asking questions at the AGM. Here are the answers I got from Vern and Jeff Kennedy (chairman). I will summarize. Thank god Vern was there since all his answers were detailed and clear. Jeff's answers were political answers to be polite or not really give a real answer.

Q1 Acquisitions in sight?  (JK answer)

Always looking but can't discuss about it.

Q2 Why PILAR gold was not acquired? (Question sent but they didn't bother mentioning it)

Q3 Lots of job offers lately, is it lost employees or new ones? (Vern)

A bit of both. They are doing a good job to keep the critical employees and retain them. Lot's of competition in Brazil since mining is very strong there.

Q4 covid? (Vern)===) Most important question and answer and thank you Vern!

Definitely THE most important issue. But worst seems really behind. Like he said at numerous times, Q1 was very tough...30% lost employees BUT, most of them back. Strict protocols in place and Q2 will be better than Q1...AND Q3 BACK TO NORMAL LEVEL. For  me that's all I needed to know personally.

Q5 Any mining issues? (Vern)

Yes just like all mining companies. However, like he said, nothing not mangeable and nothing compared to Covid. Covid seems getting better in that region but specifically for Jag.

Q6 When exploration news? Very little so far. (Vern)

We should be getting some news flow out in the coming weeks with good developments.

Q7 Any news from Eric Sprott's vision? He does hold half the  company (Jeff Kennedy)

We can't discuss what Eric Sprott thinks (more or less, was not said like that but that's what I summarized it!!)
THAT'S WHERE I STRONGLY DISSAGREE. HE SHOULD STEP UP, AND REASSURE JAG SHAREHOLDERS. NOT JUST WHEN THE SHARE PRICE RISES....during SPROTT'S WEEKLY WRAP UP he did it on many occasions...why no more? And he's very active and never really stopped his stock investments in the past 6 months so.....

That's it in a nutshell.
I think dividend is solid. Lot's of cash, and almost no debt.
I see the share price very soon will at least base and move backup and wouldn't be surprised to see it over 10$ by end of year.
No company has 0 issues and at about 350million$....with very low valuation, and Lot's of growth potential, I see the actual share price as a gift.
Some investors are short-term....they are generally not the ones making a killing.
I see no insider selling (as opposed to most mining companies)
I don't see Eric Sprott selling one iota (36 million shares! With his last purchases in the 45 cents or 4,50$ post consolidation.
Gold is in my opinion THE only real money out there, period.
Gold is going much much higher than most people can even imagine.
For me, the success of Jag is due to Vern and Eric Sprott. Vern does his share and more of  communicating but I think ES should take 5 minutes of his time once in a while to give his opinion.

Part of the job is to manage actual shareholders....not just get new ones.
I think they are missing out on that one.
Also I think they are absolutely not aggressive enough on the growth side of it. Remember the old saying: grow or die.

Hope this helps out, just trying to do what Jag should be doing better, hence giving more precise answers to existing or new investors.
They should definitely hire a Ross Beaty (even if it's just for a contract term) to give them a good clear strategy....would be worth every penny.

I'm still fully long, did not sell a single share and will ride it up most surely to I hope multiples of the actual share price. I think it's so cheap, I can hardly find a better alternative....and I'm pretty sure the insiders and ES  think alike hence no selling.
I do think ES will never sell at these levels....and it will either end with Jag being purchased or being purchased. They could do so much more actually....like BUYING IAMGOLDS PITANGUY DEPOSIT. It took 7 years of e ploration to get there....that's why to only rely on exploration for growth is not the best optimized solution. They should have a balance approach and lower risk by buying an open pit clearly defined 900k Oz deposit and with that rapid cash flow from that operation, fund even more the exploration activities. Pilar gold in comparison I going to blow away Jag's slow grow mentality...they should learn from them and put the pedal to the metal ...or they will be one back seat drivers.

I get the feeling there could be a divergence of opinion on the Jag board member. I felt like Vern is not in absolute control of all decisions and that Jeff Kennedy could be different opinion.

My gut feeling is rarely wrong. Thank god Eric is THE real boss....and he will dcide what's best for his 222M $ cad investments.

Cheers

Awesome post and you better have double digit likes for this soon!.  As it's been mentioned about Sprott a few times, his wife is pretty sick, and although he is active, he is not commenting about anything publically even all the newfoundland activity, just releases.  So I wouldn't take that as any kind of sign - like you said, he hasn't sold anything and owns a ton of Jag ...more
