A lot less fire in Fire Creek..

As posted earlier from the research note:

"On Tuesday, Klondex announced proven and probable gold reserves at the facility of 229,000 ounces as of Nov. 30, 2017 with grading of 0.69 ounces per ton. Those results are a drop of 22% and 44%, respectively, from their previous update at the end of June."

(.88)(.56)=.49 or 49%.  So Fire Creek if effectively only half as big as last year.  Huet was high grading FC in an attempt to make up for the shortfall from Hollister.  I was wondering why the guidance for 2018 looked low for FC. Now we know why, the gold has already been extracted. Disgusting.

Now more pressure on Hollister to make up for the shortfall and they don't even know how to run the mill yet !

Given the reduction in resources I think a take over is very unlikely now.

This is from 2013 at Denver Gold Forum excerpt: Fire Creek is Klondex Mines’ flagship property in North Central Nevada where the Company has discovered an NI 43-101 compliant Indicated Mineral Resource exceeding 1.6 million ounces of gold equivalent and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 0.46 million ounces of gold. Fire Creek is located in Lander County near the center of the Battle Mountain ...more

I think what I wrote below is what will actually happen in the near future. I. I said back in November-December they might as well just close TN if it's a cash burn operation. DONE II. I said everything should lead to 205 K GOEs a couple weeks before 2017 Q4 production results UNLESS something happens with Hollister recovery rate...SURE ENOUGH SOMETHING HAPPENED HUGE EFFECT III. So what is your target price? I just don't understand why anyone would put money into this. Go buy amazon, boeing or kirkland lake if you must buy a miner.

If they can get the Hollister ore issue fixed at Midas mill (this was always a huge concern of mine) and actually have two decent quarters in a row where they do as they say, I can see this going back to $ 3 USD by the summer time depending on PoG of course. At $ 1.77 USD now. Was just $ 2.07 USD Monday PM... Would be over 50 % return doable.  Takeover I'd say is 50-50. BoD still has ...more
