And, assuming it's accurate, the GPS tracker could prove useful if a UPS driver decided to retire at the intended recipients expense. Believe it or not, that's often how big shipments make their way to retailers. I would think that if silver has chips, then why not newly minted gold coins d aas well. Heck, in the movies a lot of bank robbers and drug dealers get caught because of various tracking devices.<br /> Just the thought of this chip thing being used as a tracking device is a little scary. Who knows if that scheme has nefarious purposes. I can't think of any other.<br /> I'd hate to think that the government could go right to someones private hoard if it chose to. We are well past Orwell's big brother stage. I don't think he could have ever imagined what exists today in his wildest dreams.<br /> <br />
