Re: betrayed by Tony

What!?   You mean I'm only going to make 80% on this assuming it's sold at today's price!?   I am outraged!   There are worse things in life guys than complaining about getting today's premium instead of whatever you guys think it might be worth.  Either way I'm happy.  I'll be selling far higher than I bought for.

ERTguy, I agree that it's always good to make a profit, and I did when I sold. The point is, as a long term shareholder, I would have liked to have continued to hold LSG for an even greater profit, but for me, trust in the BOD is gone. With this deal, the total profit rightly belonging to LSG shareholders is now diluted, and the political risk increased. As I have said before, with the ...more

that's right, im up 80% +. why would I give this to THO? what benefit to LSG share holders? THO wants LSG big time, THO needs LSG to continue to add value for their shareholders or their 2016 will be bleak, this is very attractive to THO because its instant cash and they are trying to capitalize on prime market conditions so why give it to them? double down THO

Wow all this reaction on 80% profit. Most people just dream of this happening. I wonder what the reaction would be if it was an 80% loss??

the reaction hear is to what happens when shareholders are getting the shaft by management so they can line there pockets, all the wile telling LSG share holders this is a good deal!! this is an excellent deal for management not shareholders

To all the Johnycomelatelies posting how great this deal is...... most of us on this board have been married to Tony for many years and now that he found another partner he wants to share our matrimonial home (LSG) he is trying to pay us off for pennies on a dollar, that is why we are feel like we have been betrayed and taken for a ride.

Lemboy, well said. I have been here since the early 2000s with Holmer GM. For the longest time it was a staked property. Back in the early days, we got giddy about its gold in the ground. Dr Sethu Raman was the CEO of HGM and was always accessible by phone. When HGM morphed into LSG we thought we were moving up a notch...a company with some history to it. Along came all these small mining ...more

I (not being a Johnycomelately) have also been here since the Holmer days and have done very well with Lakeshore. I was very happy with the latest big jump in price  . Must be something wrong with me because when I cashed out I saw a whole bunch of cash in my account. I feel sorry for the people who stayed with the story for the whole time and never traded the stock. I traded in and out ...more
