2023 -- MND's year

Well, we didn't quite make it back to $3.00 this week . . .  but I'll take a series of up-days, ending on +8% on good volume.  This is the year that MND is finally going to have a chance to show what it can do.  The company is unemcumbered, and the macro environment looks good for gold.

The simple fact is, by June, MND is going to have a dividend.  In the past, they had an automatic dividend policy that set it at a certain percentage of free cash flow (can't remember the actual details); in practice, this came out to about 5%.  I doubt it will be that high again, since the company is being more aggressive at spending for exploration -- but given MND's revenue relative to its stock price it could be decent..

MND has managed to achieve its current impressive exploration results while managing an ongoing quarterly payment of 3 million dollars, and a hedge that costs a million or two more.  Together, these easily added up to 15 million/year.  With 92 million shares out, MND could declare a yearly dividend of 16 cents a year solely from the revenue of their former debt service -- this would be twice Sandstorm's dividend (currently 2 cents a quarter) at a stock price that is 1/4 of Sandstorm's.

And this dividend will come with whatever the company discovers in its drilling program, at one of the highest-grade mines in the world, geologically similar to Fosterville . . .  MND is a company that produces slightly more than Wesdome, with an EPS higher than Wesdome, and a stock price that is between 1/4 and 1/8 of Wesdome's.  I can't think of a more undervalued company just based on current metrics, not even thinking of its potential upside.  If re-instituting the dividend doesn't make the market notice it, I don't know what will.

One final comment -- in the past, a post about this company would get 20-30 views.  This post is almost up to 400, and it went up in the very early morning (of North America).   MND stock has sucked for a long time -- when I built a position in it, it was easy because the pressure came from the sell side (that's my problem -- I waste money by being early).  That might be ...more

Easy to do. For those who like to impress themselves, open up your post and continually hit the "refresh" key. Absolutely meaningless.

Arnie - Using another one of your multiple SH user accounts to scam people out of money. Stop pumping PGM to poor unssupecting souls. Have the exploration permits been straighten up?

It took you that long to figure it out or did your pals at SH tell you that.

Sure, it's easy to do.  However, I didn't do it  I guess it's possible that there's someone else who does it with posts on MND, but that seems like quite a waste of time.
