Beware the fear machine...

Following the release of the new covid strain, today's headline blasts out:

Black Friday shopping in stores drops 28% from pre-pandemic levels

So for anyone who doesn't read past headlines, it's doom and gloom again, just in time to support the fear of a new covid.

BUT, first line into the story and we learn
[In-store] "Traffic was UP 47.5% compared with year-ago levels"

and

"Online retailers rang up $8.9 billion in sales on Black Friday, DOWN from.... a year earlier"

Beware the media and their fear agenda. Let the market rip lower and then take advantage once all the fearful sellers have bailed.
