MUX invested in GBR

Can someone explain how MUX can make huge investments make big money and yet it's not reflected anywhere....
here is a financing MUX made in GBR back in 2018...
https://greatbearresources.ca/news/great-bear-closes-10-000-000-private-placement-including-5-700-000-investment-from-rob-mcewen-and-mcewen-mining-receives/

GBR sold to Kinross in Dec.2021 for $29.00 a share, therefore I would expect MUX made hundreds of millions, where is that info on MUX News?

if you google mux/gbr , you get a couple articles that say they sold some at a profit in 2019 , i cant find anything else after that and in the anual reports they list investments but they are not broken down by companies held . also mux held 785000 initially (then sold some)shares rob held the rest , so the amount to mux at $ 29/gbr , would be under 20 million

I noted the initial investment in GBR and the investment was $8M with R-7M Minerals 1M and maybe some warrants at cost $2.20 approx. for what ever reason the shares seem to have been liquidated in range $6.00-$9.00 for GRB shares.
