Nano to be acquired or major stake taken

It's about Competition. China V Tesla V the rest.

The rest (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota, VW, etc) must adapt or will fail. We are already seeing this play out.

Toyota has allowed its reputation to be tarnished. Scandals + recalls + little EV presence + no longer #1 exporter of cars. Buy a Hybrid when china is now producing 600km range EVs and will only improve. And cheaper. CATL now has million km warranty.

Tesla building cathode plant. Will drive down costs and absolutely bury the competition.

Dealer floor plans are eating them alive. Zero ...more

Tesla is selling EV charging technology to other competing major autos.  It must be tough for them to buy off Tesla but Tesla moved fast and took that entire market. Tesla is a ruthless competitor.  If they want to corner the CAM market I would consider that possibility a real threat.
