SunnyGulfBeach: Its all about eyeballs

When NHL partnered with BAM NLN quickly made up the difference. MLS is nothing to NLN compared to what the NHL was in 2015 and in the end the human cost to support it was straining growth in other markets. Today NLN has many different coloured eggs in their basket so MSL means very little. Its a very large and fragmented global market not justly measured by NA cable TV viewing preferences. It's business as usual for NLN. It would be nice to see .85 again but that's just wishful thinking.

From a quick look based on this wesite https://www.trafficestimate.com lsusports.net (latest announcement) get 200-250 thousand visits per month for comparison nhl.com gets 10-15 millon visits per month 100 such college deals would add up nicely. Make of this what you want.

makes sense what you post. I think the challege has been converting visitors into paying digital subscribers. Its the same challenge for everyone regardless of size. NLN will have to take on debt and do a major financing to compete in scale with BAM but is that really necessary?
