Graphite is here for a long time...
Alright guys, let's set the record straight.
1) Graphite WILL be used in EV for at least the next two decades. Why? There are currently millions of EV cars using graphite and there will be tens of millions more in the coming years. A good percentage of these cars will need to change their battery packs at least once in their lifetime, so, another round of graphite for tens of millions or cars.
2) Current EVs can drive 300-400-500km using graphite (and a little bit of silicon?), so at 400-500km mark, that is WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH for massive number of people to buy EVs.
3) Auto makers can't magically procude millions of EVs cars today, it TAKES TIME, so be patient!
4) There are dozens of Giga factories being built on the planet which will be using GRAPHITE.
5) We all KNEW that NOU would require more financing and therefore dilute the action to build the mine... That's how mining projects work : You need the cash upfront and then you make the profits.
6) I've been following this company for 4 years now and it has always delivered on time. Stop panicking for every little thing...
7) Nobody knows what tech will be "hot" in 10 years. Maybe it's still going to be graphite, maybe it's going to "BEGIN TO BE SOMETHING ELSE". Look how long it takes for the industry to move in the direction of Li-ion+Graphite... It's been since what... early 2000s or even earlier? Do you think something else will replace all that industry in a matter of a few years ???
From the lab to the real-world it's 2 different things...
8) In the end, if you want to speculate and play the casino, be my guest. But stop saying this will go no where;... They've partenered with so many good compagnies!! ABB, Catterpillar, Recycling company, Olin, Becancour, ... ALL is going well!
I was looking for an opportunity to buy more and this dip was great. =)
