The Future of NOU?

This is a very quiet board but hopefully someone will jump in... Why is there such an erosion in share price over such a long period now.  Have some of the fundamentals (aka opportunities) for this business changed?  E.g. Less demand for graphite due to new battery technology.

I don't want to invest in a company that produces graphite for pencils only ;-)

Caramba...natural graphite is everywhere man... it is a baby that exist forever....so for it to become a primadonna of minerals many factors have to play in....first... the cost of both financial and ecoligical way of doing the normal synthetic has to become unbearable to shift the manufacture to use natural graphite..... 2nd  the demand has to be there..........go back  75 years  ...more

Synthetic graphite anode is produced from the low sulfur petroleum coke and pitch coke, both fossil fuels and not abundant. like the low sulfur coke is a by-product from low sulfur crude oil refining, and the largest crude producers like Persian Gulf, Venezuela, Canada do not produce low sulfur crude, also when the EV is replacing the ICE, the refinery business will shrink; like you do not have ...more

Interesting.  Sounds like there are more questions around synthtic vs natural rather than - what I thought - changes in EV battery technologies with reduced graphite requirements.  I'll have to do more research on this - thanks for the insight Graphiteguys.
