Markets

Watching all the markets closely. Maybe a general market correction in the works.

The broader market went nowhere, but seeing higher selling volumes. A/D indicator formed a negative divergence. Distribution happening?

The broader markets will go up and down. Right now the earnings reports are coming in for larger firms. Have allsorts of influences. Higher interest rates. jobless reports, geo-political tensions, some quarterly earnings less than expected and the like. Some flight to safety now until the clouds clear. Seems like there was rotation in 2021 from renewables/growth stocks into banks and oil. But if ...more

onevbdeal---In hindsight, that triple bottom and high volune day (Feb 4th) proved correct. It's just a eyeball observation, and have to see a rally also. On the sell side, it's up to each individual. Is it a long rally or short one, I would have no idea. Anyway the main idea with the triple bounce is that maybe there's a chance of a rally. Investing on my posts is chancey at best ...more

I will throw in a penny stock (Perpetual Energy) to illustrate a previous idea. With understanding  that this was in hindsight and not real time. Like Northland, a one day large spike, at a support level.
