Court case

It seems like the market is indeed getting worried about something to do with Verde. Can anyone shed anymore light on this legal issue/dispute/court case?

On 11,000 shares traded, is this a true reflection of the Market and the 600,000 shares traded weekending 10th October? Surely not, isn't this the Verde Roller-coaster we have come to love..... Or hate?

Thanks to Janota for further research on the court case: its "value" is listed as R$10,000, so under $3,000 Cdn dollars, so nothing material as far as the court documents show. The last two days of trading around the $1.30 range has been at relatively low volume, so likely not indicative of any significant underlying issue. We will be looking for confirmation in the Q3 numbers due to ...more

The low volume is somewhat meaningless to interpet and hard to correlate to a nuisance court case. The overall picture is more of a concern; cost of sales (CIF), receiveables (with  severe drought will farmers have cash flow to pay for their purchases), and the cavalier attitude of the CEO to shareholders. The former 2 factors will hit the bottom line hard regardless of sales (which will ...more
