Dicussion's Ongoing

NVA blew the WAD on Pipestone, with financing fees, subscription fee's and interest they have well over 700 million into that play.

It was simply to big an anchor and they have never recovered. When Pipestone was purchased is was producing less than 10,000 boe a day and its about the same size as POU's Karr land wise with 1/3 the production and a resouce that in not quite the same.

So in my mind there is no question NVA has value, but who will pay for it. Nobody in the current market place, and the banks keep on tighting the noose around their NVA's neck.

I plead to to all NVA shareholders to sell your shares at 61 cents, and it will be a one time painful moment then it will be over.

POU and NVA are a match made in heaven.

IMHO

You make yourself look like a fool. Why would people sell 20 cents below market ???lol

Honey, you need to stick to pumptarding on the pou board.  Your postings here make no sense. Pou is the largest shareholder of nva? Pou is the greatest most genius energy stock on the planet, but nva is going broke? You don't see the total disconnect in your 'logic'? Do you understand the saying 'you can't suck and blow at the same time?' If nva is a bad investment ...more

NVA i am a fan of the asset, not the management who have next to NO! skin in the game.  The play on NVA right now may be the bonds, the company is asset rich in a commodity market that is 3 months away from a turn around. My guess is some big money is taking out the bonds, and POU will be taking out the stock. It will trigger a bond redemption.  This survival mode plan of management is ...more

POU has 4$./ sh of debt so your only holding is zero

Your worship of pou is embarrassing. Bashing nva will not make pou go up, don't you get that? Your wishful thinking ain't gonna help. Go pump on the other board.

HP, while I respect your insights and opinions on various oil and gas related topics, I think you may fundamentally not quite understand equity investing. Nvas common shares have a full $1 billion of liabilities attached to them. Against $1.5 b of assets and maybe 50,000 of gassy production. No one wants their shares my guy; they have close to zero value . Yes some of their assets have likely ...more

Robertboblaw - I saw a report the other day for (PETERS), that said the forced sale distressed price value on a per share basis, for NVA shares is around $2.50 and the net asset value is a lot higher.  Just the Pipestone property alone is worth in the neighbor hood of 700 million all in cost when they purchased it. A great property.  So NVA has great assets and the banks are just ...more

This is correct.  There is a lot of wishful thinking on these boards about takeovers.  I'm not sure why.  NVA has no chance of someone taking them over.  However, there are vultures circling to pick over the carcass after bankruptcy. The other curiousity is that recent takeovers have been all share deals close to the existing share price.  How is that exciting for an ...more

you make me laugh riski. your investments are some of the worse I have seen , and now you go on different boards thinking you have knowledge of the industry and of the markets. Give it a rest before you make yourself sound more of an idiot than you are imho

The chatter is much more like the chatter on the pony board before it was taken out. The naysayers and bashers outnumber the pumpers by a long shot which suggests to me the stick should be thru $1 soon enough. Pony went at 69 vs trading around 50 for the summer. I@d be happy with a similar 35 to 40% premium to recent trading range of 75 to 80. Nva could go for a scarcity premium as mid cap gas ...more
