To those that follow this company.

I have watched OGI since the beginning.Back in the illegal days when only medical was available. I saw something in this company and this CEO Greg Engel. So far this company has been run strictly in a business like manner with the highest priority being shareholder value. OGI's execution has been almost perfect, some minor messes like the pesticide thing which was before Greg's tenure. Technically they are spot on, indoor grow is the future and the best. Business wise the management has been textbook. The problem they had though was revealed one day before last financials.
I love how Greg communicates with shareholders. One before financials we get material news that Ray Gracewood is out and Julie Chamberlain is in as VP of Marketing and Communications. If you have a LinkedIn account and you compare the two resumes you will see a marked difference between the outgoing VP and incoming VP. Julie has a very impressive resume with over 12 years of international experience at L’Oral including at its Parisienne head office as well as two years as Senior Brands Strategist at Irving Oil, without going into detail, I can say that Ray's resume was anything but stellar.
This news release one day before financials was on purpose, to point out how OGI fixed the third leg of the stool. They found someone who knew how to sell, and not just sell but to know what to grow based on what the market wants.
This company is going to be number one in Canada, if not number one than number two behind Canopy. Look for a 20 billion valuation one day. With 200 million shares that makes for a very nice share price.

I am not sure that you can blame one person for that, it takes more than one to do that and management needs to deal with those things on a monthly bases.  Hopefully they have made enough ...more
