Gold is the place to be if market crashes, or bond yields and interest rates rise, copper is already at almost decade high levels.

Correlation between gold price and interest rates is close to zero. I other words, there is no long term relationship between price of gold and interest rates.

hard to say, bitcoin has changed the gold dynamic.. I also considered gold(yamana comes to mind) but convinced myself there is so much more upside in oil that even if we do get a crash I'd still be up relative to an investment is gold. best of luck..
